Ignite
Ignite is the teen/student ministry of Evangel Chapel. Students in grades 7-12 are welcome to attend our Friday night events each week.
Every Friday we meet to discuss issues, the Bible, participate in games and events. It is a high energy and relevant night that impacts the lives of students.
We meet at 7:30pm to 10:30pm.
Drop Zone
The Ignite youth center hosts the surrounding schools at lunch time from Monday to Friday. Students come for a free lunch and use of our entertainment facilities. The facilities include couches, pool table, foosball tables, internet café, air hockey table, and punching bag.
We work in conjunction with the school administration and maintain a good relationship with the principles of these schools. The Drop Zone coordinator holds a certificate in food handling so that cleanliness is ensured. We are also careful to serve foods that students from all religious backgrounds can partake in. As well we encourage physical activity through use of our punching bag and the occasional use of an arm wrestling table.
All students ages 11-18 are welcome to participate in the Drop Zone.
The Drop Zone is open Tuesday to Friday 11:15am-1:30pm (Times are based upon the given lunch hour of each individual school)
During the summer months we are open from Tuesday to Friday. We offer free lunch, physical activities, field trips, games and prizes.
