Here at Evangel we believe in the importance of Home group ministries.   

We are told that the New Testament church committed themselves to “breaking bread in each others homes and eating together with glad and sincere hearts.”  

There is something wonderful about getting together with other believes in a very casual setting like a home to study the Word of God together.  

In fact we believe that it is vital to Christian growth and development and therefore we have established our home group ministry to flow in the following manner.

A/  New Attenders Class: 
 
This 10 week class is created for new attenders who desire to learn more about our church’s doctrine, history, programs and future plans.  Discussions consist of the following key themes;

1)   Evangel’s  Seven Core Values
2)   Evangel’s  Historical Past; Present and Future goals and visions
3)   Evangel’s  Pentecostal Distinctives
4)   Your Role;  opportunities and responsibilities for Evangel Chapel
5)   Evangel’s  governance  (how we run)
6)   Evangel’s  relationship with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada

Many who have attended these classes have found them to be helpful in making them understand and appreciate where the Lord is leading our church and how they have a part to play in this plan.

B/  New Converts Class:

This class is created to help those who are new in their faith who desire to learn the foundational truths of God word that will help them grow and mature in their first steps with the Lord.

C/  Home Cell Groups:

In our home groups, each group is designed to come together on a weekly or bi-weekly basis in which they go through a series of prearranged studies.

Like any cell, the groups are created in such a way that they split after a period of time to create other home groups.  This helps make room for potential new members such as those who have completed our “New Attenders Class” or “New Believers Class” and gives them an opportunity to get to know other people in the church.
