Dan Krebs: Senior Pastor

Dan Krebs has been the Senior Pastor of Evangel Chapel since September of 2005. He is a graduate of Eastern Pentecostal Bible College where he completed his Bachelors degree in Theology in 1991. Dan along with his wife Lenise have enjoyed over 19 years of full time ministry where they have pastored in places like Marimachi  New Brunswick;  Red Lake Ontario and Winnipeg,  Manitoba. 

Dan’s passion for ministry has always focused on missions, both at home and abroad.  Within the area of home missions, Dan believes that the Lord has placed Evangel,  “in our community for our community” and that the ministries of the church need to reflect the needs that are represented in our neighborhood.
World missions is much of the same.  Allowing the Lord to open doors for overseas opportunities where Evangel is able to provide both practical and spiritual comfort to the mission fields that He has made available to us.  

It is Dan’s belief that if the church keeps these two focuses at the centre of our passion, that we will remain in the Lord’s will for his church and be blessed accordingly. For as James 1:27  says;   “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this:  to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." Ryan Fray: Youth Pastor

  Pastor Ryan Fray has come on staff as  Youth Pastor of Evangel Chapel in September of 2010.   He is still in Bible College where he is completing his Bachelors degree in Theology.  Ryan is originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica were he pursued two years of theological studies from 2006-2008.  He accepted Christ at the age of fifteen and began to work in youth ministry shortly after.   It was from this young age that Ryan fell in love with pastoral care and to this day has a deep passion for mission and love for people.

His life’s philosophy is, “With God all things are possible; and the will of God will never lead you where the grace of God cannot keep you.”

Lenise  joined the team at Evangel in March 2010, in a combined position of Secretary/Children’s Director. Lenise has served faithfully beside her husband in ministry for nearly 18 years.  She is a graduate of Eastern Pentecostal Bible College and has completed a Diploma in theology.  Joining our team Lenise comes with experience and a passion to reach our children.

Dixie Funk: Drop Zone Co-ordinator

Dixie joined our team in January 2007. She came with a heart and passion for the lost. She ministers daily to the students of St. Vital as she humbly serves them a lunch meal.
