“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.”  Psalm 98:4

The main focus of the music ministry of Evangel Chapel is corporate worship.  Service with corporate worship include Sunday morning 10:30 am services and Tuesday Believer’s Meeting.

We believe that praising and worshipping God with songs and music in corporate worship is a vital part of the church services.  The Word of God tells us that singing praises to God is a command (Psalm 66:1-2), and praising god with the extensive use of musical instruments is also commanded (Psalm 150).  Worshipping corporately also encourages and builds up the body of Christ (Colossians 3:16, Ephesians 5:19).

The worship team comprises of the worship leader, the worship singers, and the musicians.  Worship team members are scheduled on a rotational basis.  Scheduled team members meet on Sunday morning at 9:00am for worship practices.
