The Pastoral Care team are an important and vital ministry of Evangel Chapel. They exist to serve, visit, pray for, and council those who are sick, in hospital, or in need of someone to speak to.
The Pastoral Care team meets with congregational members in their homes, in hospital rooms, in restaurants, in the church, or elsewhere as demanded by the need presented.
If you have a need in your life and wish to receive a visit from a Pastoral Care member you may inquire through the church office. You may ask for the administrar, or a Pastor who will set you up with a time to meet.
The Pastoral Team consists of a husband and wife, Peter and Doreen Letkeman who are longtime members of Evangel Chapel. Their pastoral hearts burn as they love to meet the needs of those who are sick or hurt in body or spirit.
They believe this Scripture with their whole hearts:
“For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, naked and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me…”
“Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to, you did it to me.”
