The purpose for this street ministry is:

1) To encourage the homeless with the love of Jesus and to show them the truth through action
2) To try to meet the needs of the homeless with food, drink and clothing
3) To give information of other resources to meet their needs or to have help from their addictions
4) To help with rides to hospitals, meetings, work places etc

What we need:

1) Prayer coverage over the ministry
2) Monies to supply gas for the drivers (the ministry has gone beyond Sundays)
3) Monies to supply bus tickets for the homeless to get a job or medical place, (welfare does not always give such items or refuses to supply because of past issues.)
4) Help with rent at times, (hotel, rooms, apartment deposits (again for those who have fallen in the cracks within the system)
5) Monies for coffee and food when going one on one
6) Monies to Christmas outreach (supplies for the event)
7) Would love to raise monies with future events to get a building of some sort to expand the ministry in joining street to Christ centered programs.

These are only some of the things that are going on as we speak and much more is in store providing God has us continue in His ministry.

We also want the people on the street to know that when we hold fundraisers for the homeless they are the ones who reap the benefits. Through this ministry we see lives changed for the sake of HIS kingdom!
